About NLS.

Naarm Law Students is a not-for-profit organisation specialising in providing legal information to young people about their rights. We focus on areas which are most relevant to young people in everyday life. Our sessions are created and run by young people, which enables us to deliver information in a way that is both engaging and informative.

Established in 2023

Naarm Law Students was founded in 2023 by a group of law students to deliver neutral information sessions on the Voice to Parliament Referendum. Since then, we have branched out to cover a variety of different topics concerning young people's rights.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide young people with a basic understanding of their rights on a range of important topics such as renters and protest rights. Basic legal education is often inaccessible for many groups of young people. Our aim is to ensure that all young people have a general understanding of their rights.
